All the formulas are the same, bug you get it for half the price. Why spenc money on something you will wash off every day? And primer. It doesn't damage your eyes at all. I use it everyday, and it will help your shadow last longer without fading. Urban decay primer potion is amazing, but if you want a cheaper version that works just as well, Sally Beauty Supply stores sell a primer by Palladio, that sells for about $8.
