Question for exclusively breast-feeding moms only ( or if you ever were in the past )?

My daughter is due very soon, and I am going to breastfeed her ( exclusively.) I've heard it said before that you should NEVER leave your nursing infant. I was wondering ( because I am new to this and want to do the right thing for her ) 4 weeks after she is due to be born, I am scheduled to have important dental work. The office is 3 minutes from my house, and the dental work should take about 2 hours or so. I was thinking about having my mom & dad watch the baby at my house while I go have the dental work done. Is that a good or a bad idea ? Thank you for your advice !
