Do people ACTUALLY kiss their relatives on the lips?

Most of the time I kiss my parents/mutual family members on the cheek. But, If i'm leaving home for a long time or something special, I will give them a small little peck on the lips. It's innocent, no romantic intentions at all. I want to say it's a southern thing, considering I lived in Florida all of my life. So, yes. Some people do ACTUALLY kiss relatives on the lips, I see nothing wrong with it.
