Can you recommend some contemporary bands?

My taste in music is SO dated (pretty much exclusively 60s & 70s rock), Can anyone recommend good contemporary bands? My favorite artists are the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Grateful Dead, and Pink Floyd. I need singers that REALLY belt it out and clever lyrics are a huge plus.
